The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has announced the commencement of the registration process for NEET PG 2024 starting today, April 16, 2024, at 3 pm. Aspiring candidates aiming to appear for the NEET PG examination can register through the official NBEMS website, natboard.edu.in, and complete their applications by midnight on May 6, 2024. This year’s NEET PG exam will take place on June 23, a change from the initially scheduled date of July 7, 2024.

Eligibility and Requirements:

To register for NEET PG 2024, candidates must meet certain academic criteria. These include completing MBBS or being in the final semester of MBBS and completing a 12-month rotatory internship by August 15, 2024, to be eligible for the examination.

Application Fee:

The NBEMS has revised the NEET PG application fees for all categories of candidates. The application fee for General and OBC candidates is ₹3,500, while candidates belonging to SC, ST, and PWD categories will need to pay ₹2,500. These fees have been reduced by ₹750 across all categories.

Exam Pattern:

The NEET PG 2024 exam will consist of 200 multiple-choice questions, each carrying a weightage of four marks, totaling 800 marks for the entire examination. Candidates will receive four marks for each correct answer, while one mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.

Result Declaration: The NEET PG 2024 results will be announced on July 15, 2024.
